Acupuncture needles are typically not much thicker than a strand of hair and the insertion is not painful. After insertion, the area may feel itchy, heavy, warm or even numb. Sensation usually occurs via pulsing or slight tingling, indicating effective treatment of specific health conditions. In some points, you may not even feel the needle at all.
Acupuncture needles are always sterile, stainless steel and disposable.

The Acupuncture session itself will take between 30-45 minutes. After your initial session allow an hour for your Acupuncture appointment.

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture is an excellent alternative to cosmetic surgery. It is far less costly and much safer. It is virtually painless, has no side effects or risk of disfigurement, and you can fit it into your busy schedule with no down time. While Acu-Lift is not a replacement for surgery if one is trying to reshape a nose or chin, it will take years off of your face safely and naturally while improving your overall health and reducing your stress.
Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture is contraindicated for some pituitary disorders, heart disorders, diabetes mellitus, high blood pressure, individuals who have a pacemaker or who have a problem with bleeding or bruising, or who currently suffer from migraine headaches. Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture should not be done during pregnancy, during a bout with a cold or flu, during an allergic attack, or during an acute rash.
